I’m a mix of a creative big picture thinker and an action-oriented person. As a product manager, I’m dedicated to creating a magical and effortless user experience (both offline and online) through sharp, engaging design, while crafting a product roadmap that leads to such an experience. In my work, I use a variety of frameworks such as design thinking, lean startup, journey mapping, customer discovery, personas, business canvas, among other innovative approaches.
Currently, I work for a USA top bank building and managing a multimillion-dollar portfolio of software products for business customers generating $1M to $20M revenues per. My responsibilities include development, user experience, data analytics, usability testing, and collaborating across departments for the success of the products. Previously, I co-founded and led product at Poshpacker Inc, a hospitality startup backed by Techstars and other angel investors. I helped transform a 100 pages business plan into a technology company.
We built a booking site with a portfolio of 1600 properties across 460 cities and 60 countries. PoshPacker became a travel category known as “poshpacking” and the leader of the hospitality segment “poshtels,” as recommended by National Geographic. We got approved for the term “POSHPACKER” as a US registered trademark. We gained early revenues, over 100k users, and fundraised $200k from USA and Germany. As the co-founder of PoshPacker, I got to operate the business and live in San Francisco, Washington DC, Lisbon Portugal, Santiago Chile, and Berlin Germany. I’m an alumni from Techstars, Startup Chile, and Lisbon Challenge.
Before Poshpacker, I worked on a variety of MBA innovation strategy projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, utilizing design thinking to solve complex business problems. Collaborating with teams, I worked on consultancy projects for The Sourcing Group, Boombotix, and The Women’s Building. We also came up with a series of venture ideas such as Hablet and Kami Designs.
